Once Upon A Time

First there were "Jack and Jill," brother and sister-- the only two children in the little family, and best friends. Yes, their parents had a sense of humor with their naming, but it was great growing up somewhat famous. "Do you have a hill?" was a question most often asked them by outsiders. Yes, there was a pretty good hill in the back yard--but, alas, no well, no pail of water, and only a few head-over-heels tumbles down the incline. To their delight, when Jack was 14 and Jill 11, a beautiful little sister by the name of Jan was born. To Jack and Jill she was the cleverest and cutest of children, a special gift that completed the fairy tale. Many years have passed. Jack and Jill are now proud grandparents, and Jan has a spread of young ones and teenagers at home. They no longer live under the same roof, but they still enjoy sharing a laugh and a good story. And so it's only logical that they should share a blog, right? They already learned to take turns.
