Kennith's Big Events

Baby Kennith celebrated his first Christmas by being an important member of the Nativity cast. He was a very content and beautiful little baby Jesus.

On January 11, he went from being a cast member, to actually WEARING a cast. To correct his little turned foot, Kennith will wear a cast for several weeks, then he must get surgery on his Achilles tendon. After that, he'll wear a brace full time for a few months, followed by a couple of years of nighttime only wear. Our hearts will continue with Kennith, with hopes that all procedures will go well, and that he can be comfortable.

Sunday, January 17, was Kennith's blessing day. He was blessed at home by the bishop. Also included were the missionaries, a family friend, and Jack. Aunt Gabby described the event as "small and beautiful."

Pictured below, on blessing day, are Kennith and his parents, Kyle and Karissa. I like how he is smiling in the second picture....(maybe because he has succeeded in pulling off his tie!)

Below, with Karissa, Kyle, Cindy, Gabby, and Jack.

Congratulations to Kennith and his family for so many important events in the past month! We send our love and best wishes for health and happiness.

What a handsome little guy! So sorry he has to have so many trials at such a tiny age. Our hearts and prayers are with him that he can be comfortable and everything will go smoothly.

No kidding. I had no idea about his little foot--so much to go through for a little baby! But I hope it all goes well and the efforts can fix his foot. He looks very dear in that little tie.
