Kennith, the newest member of the family, was born on Friday, November 6th, 2009 at Fair Oaks Hospital, late in the afternoon.
Karissa had been to the hospital several times during the week to be induced, but was sent home a couple of times....she was SO GLAD to finally get to have her baby on Friday. Unfortunately, because of all the swine flu hysteria, Grandma Cindy was not allowed in the hospital for the delivery, or even to visit the baby! She had to wait until Kennith came home on Sunday. Kyle was able to stay with Karissa at the hospital from Friday through Sunday, but no one else was allowed to visit. (That's sure different than we've ever experienced before!)
Grandma Cindy, Aunt Gabrielle, and Melanie finally got to see him on Sunday, and Jack got a brief visit on Monday before heading back to Minnesota where he is working.
We send our love and sincere wishes for health and happiness, and a swift recovery for Karissa. These beautiful pictures tell the story better than words!

He is darling! I'm glad he is here safe and sound and that the family finally got to meet him! He's so little compared to my big Colton :)
